Welcome to Vara! By using our service, you agree to these terms. We've kept them straightforward — please read through so you know what to expect.
1. What Vara Does
Vara is a tool that helps you save, organize, and share South Asian fashion items from online stores. Our Chrome extension lets you save products with one click, and our website (vara.style) lets you organize them into collections and share with friends and family.
We are not a retailer. We don't sell products, process payments, or handle shipping. We simply help you keep track of items you find elsewhere.
2. Your Account
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vara. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
Account Security
You're responsible for keeping your account secure. We use magic link authentication (no passwords), so keep your email account safe.
Accurate Information
Please provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person, please.
3. Acceptable Use
Use Vara for its intended purpose — saving and organizing fashion items. Don't:
- ✗Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access Vara
- ✗Attempt to hack, breach, or compromise our security
- ✗Use Vara to spam, harass, or harm others
- ✗Infringe on intellectual property rights
- ✗Upload malicious content or malware
- ✗Violate any applicable laws
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Your Content
When you save items, you're saving links and metadata from other websites. You retain ownership of your collections and organization.
By using Vara, you grant us permission to store and display this content to provide the service (e.g., showing your saved items, enabling sharing).
5. Third-Party Websites
Vara links to third-party retailer websites. We are not responsible for:
- • Product availability, pricing, or accuracy on those sites
- • Your transactions or experiences with those retailers
- • The content, privacy practices, or terms of those sites
- • Products being out of stock, discontinued, or changed
When you click through to a retailer, you're subject to their terms and policies.
6. Intellectual Property
The Vara name, logo, and the service itself are our intellectual property. Product images and information displayed are owned by their respective retailers.
You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Vara's code, design, or brand without permission.
7. Disclaimers
Vara is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or meet your specific needs.
We're not responsible for any losses resulting from using Vara, including but not limited to missed deals, lost data, or retailer issues.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vara and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, regardless of the cause of action.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or on the website. Continued use of Vara after changes means you accept the new terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using Vara anytime. You can delete your account by contacting us at hello@vara.style.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.
